2. What Data We Collect
When a dental clinic submits an order through our online form, we collect:
- Clinic information: clinic name, contact person, phone number, email address
- Patient reference: patient name or internal reference code (as provided by the clinic)
- Order details: type of dental work, tooth number, shade/color parameters, implant system (if applicable), delivery date, special instructions
- Files and images: photographs of dental casts, X-rays, scans, or other clinical images uploaded with the order
- Submission metadata: date and time of form submission
3. Why We Collect This Data
We collect this data for the following purpose:
Order fulfillment — to receive, process, and complete dental lab orders submitted by dental clinics.
Legal basis: The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (or pre-contractual steps) between Iris Dental Lab and the submitting dental clinic.
4. How Data Is Stored
Order data is stored securely in:
- Google Sheets — for structured order records (clinic name, order details, dates)
- Google Drive — for uploaded files and images (photographs, scans)
Both services are provided by Google LLC and operated under Google's data protection terms.
Order data is processed through LabOrderly — a dental lab order management service that acts as our data processor. LabOrderly transmits order submissions to our Google storage on our behalf.

5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data is shared only with:

- Restriction — ask us to limit processing
- Objection — object to processing in certain circumstances

8. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect order data, including:
- Use of HTTPS-secured forms for all submissions
- Restricted access to Google Drive/Sheets (authorized personnel only)

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will notify submitting clinics by email where possible.
