Iris Lab in Tbilisi
Professional Dental Laboratory in Tbilisi
Iris Dental Lab was founded in August 2025 in Tbilisi, Georgia, by Mikhail Farsadonov and Giorgi Kutateladze. Our laboratory operates from 72 Mikheil Burdzgla St, Tbilisi 0150, in a purpose-equipped facility designed for precision prosthodontics. We are a small, focused team committed to the craft of dental laboratory work — a discipline that demands accuracy, integrity, and obsessive attention to detail.
Our team of four certified dental technicians — Mikhail (15 years), Giorgi (5–6 years), Tato (5–6 years), and Misha (8–10 years) — holds diplomas and masters class certifications. Two of our founders hold official opinion leader positions with industry-leading material manufacturers: Mikhail with Ivoclar Vivadent and Giorgi with SageMax.
We operate on a fundamental principle: quality and accuracy over production volume. Every restoration leaving our laboratory is the product of disciplined craftsmanship, stage-by-stage quality control, and the collective expertise of our entire team.
Our Services
Iris Dental Lab fabricates a complete range of fixed prosthetics, including single crowns and multi-unit bridges in zirconia, lithium disilicate, and ceramic; esthetic veneers; and implant-supported crowns with custom abutments. Each fixed restoration is engineered for precise marginal fit, correct occlusal anatomy, and long-term stability.
We deliver a full spectrum of removable prosthetics: complete and partial dentures, bügel (cast metal partial) frameworks, and rail systems for conditional removability. Our implant work includes custom titanium and zirconia abutments, beam structures (beamless and with guiding rails), and implant-supported bridges.
Beyond traditional prosthodontics, we fabricate sports mouthguards and gnathological splints for occlusal management, bruxism control, and therapeutic applications.
Materials and Digital Workflow
Our material selection reflects partnerships with the world's leading dental manufacturers. For zirconia, we work exclusively with SageMax, Ivoclar, and Aidite. Ceramic restorations are fabricated using Ivoclar Vivadent and Max Ceram layering systems. Lithium disilicate crowns and inlays are milled from e.max tablets.
Our laboratory is equipped with a dedicated CAD/CAM milling center, a precision zirconia milling machine, and multiple 3D printers, each configured for specific applications. A high-temperature furnace handles sintering and glaze cycles with exact thermal protocols.
Digital workflow is married to hand-finishing. After milling, every crown receives hand-adjusted occlusion, ceramic layering or glaze application, and final surface refinement. Restorations are individually evaluated under magnification before shipment.
How to Work With Us
To begin, contact us directly by telephone or visit our laboratory at 72 Mikheil Burdzgla St, Tbilisi 0150. We are open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 to 20:00. Our team will discuss your case, clarify material and design specifications, and establish a timeline aligned with your clinical schedule.
Orders may be submitted as physical impressions (traditional stone casts) or as digital files in STL or DICOM format. Provide clear clinical documentation: tooth shade (we use Vita and Noritake shade guides), functional requirements, and any specific design or material preferences.
Our standard turnaround time is 7–10 working days from order receipt. Rush orders can be accommodated in 3–4 days when scheduled in advance. We accept single-unit orders with no minimum quantity.
Quality, Accuracy, and Our Commitment
Quality control at Iris Dental Lab is not a final inspection step — it is a discipline embedded in every phase of production. Each order is evaluated at predetermined checkpoints: impression accuracy upon receipt, model pour and fit verification, digital scan calibration, milling output inspection, marginal adaptation assessment, and final surface finish review.
Every completed restoration receives a final, meticulous review under magnification by our entire team. All four technicians participate in the final evaluation — if any technician identifies a concern, the restoration is corrected before delivery.
We stand by our work without reservation. If a crown requires re-painting, re-layering, or fine-tuning of occlusion, we address it. Our Wax-up and PMMA provisional process ensures form approval before final fabrication. We have never walked away from a case.
